Girocòmic Idols Contest 2026

The Girocòmic IDOLS Contest is a stage competition dedicated to Idol culture
and Asian pop. The goal is to provide a professional space where participants can
demonstrate live vocal ability, artistic expression, and stage presence.
Registration implies full acceptance of these rules.
1. CATEGORIES
Individual or group category (up to 6 members)
The same person may not participate in more than one performance.
The organization may limit the total number of spots based on technical or
programming criteria.
2. ARTISTIC REQUIREMENTS
The performance must be related to the idol universe (J-Pop, anime or video game music projects, idol groups, etc.).
Live singing is mandatory.
Complementary choreography is allowed.
Minimum duration: 1:30 minutes
Maximum duration: 4 minutes
Only one mix of up to two songs is allowed.
If the established time is exceeded, the organization may cut the track.
3. COSTUME AND VISUAL PROPOSAL
Cosplay is not mandatory, but a stage proposal consistent with the performed piece is required.
Aesthetic coherence, characterization, and overall visual construction will be evaluated.
4. REGISTRATION AND CONFIRMATION
Registration will be done via an online form.
Once the spot is confirmed:
- The instrumental track must be sent in MP3 format.
- No files may be modified on the day of the contest.
- The number of microphones needed must be indicated.
- A reference video for the jury may be provided (optional but recommended).
Each participant will receive a badge for Monday, October 12. Participants
must reconfirm their attendance in person at the backstage of the stage
30 minutes before the start of the contest.
Failure to appear without a justified reason may result in being unable
to participate in the next edition.
5. SCREEN AND VISUAL SUPPORT
The stage will have a back screen. Participants may provide audiovisual content
as stage support, always within the deadlines and technical formats
indicated by the organization.
Projected content must be suitable for all audiences.
6. SCENOGRAPHY AND SAFETY
Use of light stage elements is allowed.
Strictly prohibited:
- Pyrotechnics or fire
- Lasers
- Liquids
- External electrical connections
- Dangerous objects
The stage must be left in the same clean condition.
The organization may prohibit any element it considers unsafe.
7. EVALUATION CRITERIA (100 POINTS)
- Live vocal quality – 30 points
Pitch, control, projection, and interpretation.
- Execution and coordination – 20 points
Rhythmic control, synchronization, and precision.
- Stage presence – 20 points
Charisma, attitude, and connection with the audience.
- Visual proposal – 15 points
Costume, aesthetic coherence, and conceptual suitability.
- Creativity and difficulty – 15 points
Technical complexity and originality.
The jury’s decision will be final and binding.
8. PRIZES
First prize: €250
Second prize: €100
Special mention: €50
9. CONDUCT AND RESPECT
Any offensive, discriminatory, or disrespectful behavior toward participants, audience,
jury, or organization will result in immediate disqualification.
Performances must be suitable for all audiences.
10. IMAGE RIGHTS AND EXPLOITATION
Participation implies express and free authorization to Girocòmic to record,
reproduce, and distribute images, videos, and excerpts of performances for
promotional, informative, or cultural dissemination purposes, on any medium or channel, without
territorial or time limitations.
Participants declare that they hold the necessary rights to their performances.
11. DATA PROTECTION
In compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and current data protection laws, personal data provided will be processed by
the organization solely for the purpose of managing contest participation.
Data will not be shared with third parties except as required by law.
Participants may exercise their rights of access, rectification, deletion,
restriction, or objection by written communication to the organization.
12. ACCEPTANCE AND RESOLUTION
The organization reserves the right to interpret these rules and resolve any
unforeseen issues in order to ensure the smooth running of the contest.
