The poster for Girocòmic 2026 is signed by Girona-based artist Adriana Puerto, artistically known as Adriana Von Hafen. An illustrator and art director specialized in UX/UI, her work draws directly from the world of classic comics, vibrant colors, and the superhero aesthetics of the 1980s and 1990s — influences that define a powerful, expressive style full of personality.
Her connection to drawing began at a very young age, spending hours recreating characters from the animated series she loved. Over the years, this passion led her to study at the Escola d’Arts i Disseny Llotja in Barcelona and to build a professional career linked to the visual arts, while never leaving illustration and comics behind — two languages that remain central to her creative universe.
For this tenth edition of Girocòmic, Adriana Von Hafen presents a vibrant poster filled with references to classic and superhero comic culture. The main protagonist of the illustration is the Cocollona, one of the most iconic figures in Girona’s folklore, reimagined here as a colossal creature emerging from the Onyar River, surrounded by heroes and heroines inspired by the world of American comics.
