NATALIA VELARDE

Daniel Acuña (Águiles, Murcia, 1974) is an illustrator, cover artist and comic book artist who began his career in Spain’s independent comic scene with works such as Claus & Simon, before making the leap to the North American market, where he has been working since the mid-2000s. He began collaborating with DC Comics as a cover artist and interior artist on series such as Uncle Sam & Freedom Force, Green Lantern and The Flash, and later joined Marvel Comics, where he has developed much of his career.

For Marvel, he has illustrated series featuring some of the publisher’s best-known characters, including Wolverine, Captain America, The Eternals, The Avengers, X-Men, Iron Man, Doctor Strange, Black Panther and the miniseries Avengers: Twilight, written by Chip Zdarsky. More recently, he released Escape (Norma), written by Rick Remender.
