Kpop Dance Contest Participation Rules

1. REGISTRATION AND PRE-SELECTION FOR THE GIROCÒMIC 2026 K-POP DANCE CONTEST

The contest will include a pre-selection process.
Registrations must be completed online through the form available on the website.
A maximum of 10 individual participants and 6 groups will be selected, along with 2 reserve spots.
Selected participants must confirm their spot through an in-person check-in at the event venue 30 minutes before the start of the contest.
Communication will be carried out via email (info@girocomic.cat), and replies within the established deadlines will be required.
If a participant is underage, they must provide authorization from their legal guardian.

2. GENERAL RULES

The contest will take place on Sunday, October 11th, 2026, starting at 3:30 PM on the main stage of Girocòmic.
Each participant will receive one free ticket for Sunday, October 11th once their participation has been confirmed.
The contest will consist of K-Pop choreography covers.
Participants must remain within the assigned area and be ready near the stage at all times.
Pre-selected applicants will receive a confirmation email.
The use of dangerous materials, pyrotechnics, confetti, streamers, foam, or objects that leave residue on stage is not allowed.
Any offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate behavior for all audiences will result in immediate disqualification.

3. JUDGING CRITERIA AND SCORING

The jury will evaluate the following aspects:

  1. Stage presence and attitude (0–10 points): Body expression, confidence, and connection with the audience.
  2. Rhythm and synchronization (0–10 points): Adaptation to changes in rhythm and intensity of the song.
  3. Technique and execution cleanliness (0–10 points): Clarity and precision of movements.
  4. Choreography difficulty (0–10 points): Technical level and execution.
  5. Idol outfit / cosplay (0–10 points): Faithfulness to the original style, creativity, and costume detail.
  6. Group coordination (0–10 points, groups only): Teamwork and synchronization among group members.

4. CATEGORIES AND PRIZES

1st Individual Prize: 150 EUR
1st Group Prize: 300 EUR

The jury’s decision will be final, and any breach of the rules may result in disqualification.
