FERNANDO DAGNINO

Fernando Dagnino (@fernandodagninoguerra) is a comic book artist born in Madrid in 1973. He has worked for both the North American and French markets and is particularly known for his work with publishers such as DC Comics, Dark Horse Comics, Valiant Entertainment, Titan Comics, Glénat, and Dupuis.

In 1999, he published his first creator-owned comic, Tales of the Black Spain, marking the beginning of a career that he later combined with illustrating young adult books, magazines, video games, and advertising projects. In 2006, he wrote and drew KASANDRA y la Rebelión.

From 2007 onwards, he began working exclusively for DC Comics, where he illustrated popular series such as Superman, Supergirl, Wonder Woman, Teen Titans, Justice League, Resurrection Man, Batman and the Outsiders, and Suicide Squad. He later expanded his career by collaborating with publishers such as Dark Horse Comics, on titles including Captain Midnight and Tarzan on the Planet of the Apes; Valiant Entertainment; Titan Comics, where he drew Blade Runner Origins; and Dynamite, among others.

At the same time, he has developed an important body of creator-owned work, with titles such as Smart Girl, L'Agent (written by Mathieu Gabella), Winter Queen, Rhythm & Blues, and the Tales of the Black series. In recent years, he has continued to expand his portfolio with work for franchises such as Conan the Barbarian, The Savage Sword of Conan, Bloodshot, while developing new creator-owned projects.
