TONI CABALLERO

Toni Caballero (@tonicaballeroart) is a professional manga illustrator and artist born in Valencia in 1991. After studying a postgraduate degree in Illustration at ESAT in Valencia, he has developed his career within the comic book and illustration industry.

He has been a finalist four times in Norma Editorial’s manga competition and has worked as an illustrator for events and brands such as Fnac, Heroes Comic Con and Panini Comics.

His realistic and pop-inspired style has earned him several awards from the SMA (Coamix Inc./North Stars Pictures) in Japan.

In 2020, together with Valencian screenwriter Sergio Hernández, he began publishing the manga Backhome in Planeta Manga, a fast-paced thriller with influences from Oku Hiroya and Kengo Hanazawa. A year later, they both received the Diafebús Youth Novel Award for El Diari de Laia. He has also worked on Reflejos del Futuro, published in Planeta Manga with Blanca Mira, and on the graphic novel Soy Leyenda, once again alongside Sergio Hernández.

He regularly contributes to Planeta Manga magazine and also to Manga Issho. More recently, in 2026, he published Midnight Serenade, his first solo work, taking on both the writing and drawing for the first time.

He will be signing on Saturday, October 11 at 11 a.m. at the central signing stand.
