RAMON ROSANAS
Ramon Rosanas @ramon.rosanas, born in Badalona in 1966, is a comic artist and illustrator. He began his professional career at the age of nineteen at El Víbora and later contributed to magazines such as Cimoc and Humor a Tope, before moving into the international market. He has also worked as a teacher at Escola Joso.
His work as an illustrator includes contributions to publications such as La Vanguardia, El País, Playboy and Elle, as well as projects for publishers including Simon & Schuster, Oxford University Press, Macmillan, Enciclopèdia Catalana, Cruïlla and Edebé. He has also created illustrations and storyboards for numerous advertising campaigns.
Since 2008, he has worked for Marvel Comics, where he has handled drawing, inking and colouring, working on characters such as Wolverine, Spider-Man, Deadpool, Hulk, the X-Men and Iron Man. His credits include titles such as The Age of Sentry, Spider-Man 1602, Night of the Living Deadpool, The Astonishing Ant-Man, The Mighty Captain Marvel and All-New Wolverine.
Alongside his work in the North American market, he has collaborated with European publishers such as Dargaud and Delcourt on projects including WW2.2 and Fraternités. His international career has also earned him an Eisner Award nomination.
