MARTÍ MELCIÓN

Martí Melcion (@marti.melcion) is a cartoonist born in Barcelona in 1995. His graphic universe is defined by humour, sarcasm and a sharp perspective on precarity and the everyday life of his generation.

Through his comic strips and animations, he portrays situations such as shared flats, romantic relationships, job insecurity, emotional management and friendships, turning everyday uncertainty and apathy into humorous material.

His popularity on social media grew particularly during lockdown, when his comics resonated with a shared everyday experience. He has collaborated on projects such as Charcastrology, Mtines and the podcast Dentro by Radio Primavera Sound, among others.

In 2026, he publishes Elma i els seus amics (Random House), his first graphic novel, set in a Barcelona of terraces, shared flats, dates, parties and precarious jobs. The book expands the universe of his comic strips and offers a humorous and disenchanted portrait of a generation facing adult life amid uncertainty, precarity and a desire to enjoy themselves.
