JUDIT CREHUET

Judit Crehuet (@juditcrehuet) is an illustrator and comic artist, born in Figueres in 1998. She has collaborated with El Jueves, and her work is characterised by a particular focus on the representation of emotions and the creation of her own visual worlds.

Together with writer Àurea Muñoz, she is the author of Respira (Planeta Cómic, 2026), a work that explores anxiety and mental health through the story of Lis, a young woman who begins to suffer anxiety attacks as she struggles to keep up with the pace of her surroundings.

In Respira, Judit creates a visual language that reflects the protagonist’s emotional state. The sea becomes a central metaphor, while the page composition, sound effects and use of colour evolve throughout the story to reflect Lis’s emotions.

An intimate and poetic work that combines storytelling and graphic experimentation to explore vulnerability, social pressure and mental health.
