Participation Rules for the Girocòmic 2026 Cosplay Runway
PHASE 1: Check-in
Participants will receive a number during the runway check-in, which will take place on Saturday, October 10 at 3:30 PM. This number will be provided as a sticker so it can be easily attached to the cosplay without damaging it.
Participation in the runway includes free entry to the event.
IMPORTANT!
Purchased cosplays (or cosplays not made by the participant) will NOT be allowed to participate in the runway. A cosplay will be considered purchased if more than 30% of its components are store-bought. For example, if you wear purchased boots but the rest of the cosplay has been handmade by you, it will still be considered handmade.
Participants must provide images of the cosplay they will wear on the runway for the review process. These images can be uploaded during registration or sent to:

Participants are asked to cooperate with the organization at all times. Presenters and volunteers will indicate the lineup order and explain how the runway will operate.
The runway will officially begin at 5:00 PM. Participants must line up in numerical order with their stickers visible. Please help maintain an orderly queue to ensure the activity runs smoothly.
PHASE 2: Runway
When your stage name (previously verified during check-in) is announced, you must enter the stage from the location indicated by the organization.
Once on stage, you will have approximately 10–15 seconds to walk the runway and showcase your cosplay to the audience. No performance is required; the goal is simply to enjoy the moment and show your work.
After finishing your walk, participants are kindly asked to leave the backstage area to avoid overcrowding.
Once all participants have walked the runway, the judges will take approximately 10–15 minutes to deliberate and evaluate the cosplays.
Winners of Girocòmic 2026 will be called back to the stage for the award ceremony. For this reason, participants are asked not to remove their cosplay until the event has ended.
